The distance measured between the top and bottom of the head-frame of the racquet.

The center of the racquet head-frame-string bed becomes synchronized precisely where the three major axis cross in the center of the head-string system. X-45® technology redifines the "Sweet-Spot" terminology. Our new definition of the tennis racquet location and function of the "active and inactive" area of control and power. Our patented new technology concept called Power-Active-Area® (P.A.A.) represents the way in which we increase the maximum head-frame-string bed effective hitting area.
X-45®TECH-NOTE-1: The "Sweet-Spot" is a point located along the head-frame-longitudinal-axis according to the racquet-head-design and other parameters and is not an area to improving more or less ball bauncing and control.
X-45®TECH-NOTE-2: In X-45® instead, the all 3-mayor-axis, dynamic center of gravity, sweet-spot (center-of-Percussion) maximum ball bouncing point, frame-head and string system center are located precisely where the all 3-mayor-axis crossing on the center-head-frame system. In conventional tennis racquets (in-line-symmetry) all above described points, the distances or measurements are opposite from each other, for example, the maximum-ball-bouncing-point are located 5+inches opposite from sweet-spot location point, regardless brand, material (composite) used, head-size or any kind of technology applied.

Power-Active-Area® (P.A.A.) It demonstrates how the X-45® racquets create optimal torsional performance, reduce longitudinal torque effects, counteract spin or screwdriver twisting force with high efficiency and decrease the secondary effects (shock/vibration) from an off-center hit.
With X-45® the Power-Active-Area® (P.A.A.) is +44% of the total head-frame area and is located in the center of the string system. Conventional racquets Power-Active-Area® (P.A.A.) are only +/-15% of the total the head-frame area regaurdless of the brand, technology, and head size.
Conventional racquets only control +/-15% of the frame-torsion leaving +/-85% up to the player to control the remaining balance. X-45® tecnologies increases the torsion control to a total of +44%, and only leaves -56% of the remaing torsion control up to the player. Which means, that with a conventional racquet the player would have to produce more than double the force "Overswing" to obtain the same amount of ball speed, power and control that X-45® racquets generates.
One major difference between X-45® and all conventional racquets are that X-45® is asymmetrical while others are symmetrical. This helps to dramatically improve the tennis players biomechanics factors interactin with our racquet technology, such as creating a natural extension of the players arm and helps to reduce the serious bodily injuries caused by the effets of racquet torsion.
